I just found this out on Zondervan's site. In January 2009, Zondervan will be realeasing (what I call) a blank bible version of the NIV New Testament. According to their web site, the NIV New Testament (Noteworthy Collection) will contain blank right hand pages, an accordian pocket on the inside for extra storage, and an elastic band over the cover to keep everything in place. For those not familiar with "Blank Bibles", these are bibles with empty pages in between the pages of the bible text, which allow for extensive note taking. Its a wide margin bible gone wild in other words :-).

I found this while surfing the web. Not sure what LOLCat Speak is, but someone is translating the Bible in it. This will have to go on the shelf next to my Klingon Language Version and the Cotton Patch Version of the New Testament :-)
I just read a great article on Crosswalk.com called "Trusting in God's Greater Plans". It talks about stepping up to God's call on your life and taking advantage of those little opportunities He gives you. Great read!
Hola! What an amazing couple of weeks its been. Its been a struggle lately because I'm feeling like I'm not in the calling that the Lord has for me. I'm dealing with fealings of frustration, hopelessness, depression, and self disappointment. Honestly, I'm feeling very frustrated with myself thinking that I don't seem to be able to pull off this life of faith that everyone else is living. And wouldn't you know it, people are coming out of the WOODWORK telling me about someone they know got saved, then immediately headed off for their new life serving the Lord. And here I sit still struggling with the same old demons and feeling more and more like a failure.
I'll be posting somewhat random verses from the Bible for the next few weeks. These are just verses that strike me during my normal reading time.
