Your Tongue (don't stick it out)

I am coming to understand the POWER of the spoken Word. In Revelation 1:16 it talks about a sharp two edged sword coming from His mouth. The more you pray and you see the fruits of your prayers, the stronger your faith becomes. And the stronger your faith, the more powerful your words of prayer become. Its a wonderful circle that you find yourself in. Ask God to show you the fruits of your prayer, and He will! Its wonderful to be excited about this, but don't let it go to your head. Stay humble, and acknowledge before God that the fruits are from His seeds and produced from His work.

From what I can understand, God loves to use signs, symbols, and repetition to talk to us. If you think about what a sharp two edged sword looks like, you begin to realize that it is wider than it is thicker (in other words, it is flat), and it has a point on the end of it. Now think about your tongue. Isn't your tongue wider than it is thick? Does it not have two edges? Does it not have a point? Is your tongue not rooted in your head, the place where your thoughts come from? Is that a sign or what! Isn't God brilliant! I love Him!!!

Here are a couple quotes to read and help you consider your gift. These Bible quotes are all from the New Living Translation provided by the Heartlight.org folks via their searchgodsword.org site. Pay them a visit and say a prayer for them, they are doing some great work!
